BT broadband internet, email not working on July 20th 2016

Some of you may have woken up in the UK to find BT broadband and email down on July 20, 2016. The strange thing about this particular outage though, is that it is only affecting certain websites, with service restored sporadically but then speed being affected momentarily after.

As a result, many of you may experience websites not loading on BT broadband today but the good news at least is that BT are aware of the problems.

Here is an official statement from the company, delivered via Twitter just minutes ago:
